Picturing Time - Etienne-Jules Marey

I have looked a little at the work by Etienne-Jules Marey as I think the idea of capturing movement is really interesting and the amount of work and research this man did is amazing.
I feel this could relate back to my project of 'Picturing Time' as I feel this is capturing a moment in time, one movement... a bird taking off or landing.. a horse running.
I think the quality of these images are really beautiful, from the age but also the lovely shapes that the birds wings and the movement of the animals has made. I would like to experiment more with this idea of movement for this project and see where it takes me.
